Yoga has been a steady part of my life since I took my first Bikram yoga class in February of 2000. The room was hot and humid, the teacher was confident and inspiring... I loved it. Being a runner and a poor sleeper, I found the yoga help me tremendously physically and mentally. I never imagined I could move my body in that way. I was never one to be able to sit still and meditate, but the moving meditation I practiced in a yoga class was exactly what I needed.

After practicing regularly for 5 years, I went to Bikram yoga teacher training in 2005 in Los Angeles. I loved being immersed in the yoga bubble and being exposed to so many fantastic and inspirational teachers and students. I opened my own Bikram yoga studio in Concord, NH in 2008, soon after my first son was born. I loved the community in Concord and felt blessed to have my dream job. After 7 years ownership and 3 busy boys, I couldn’t find my work/family life balance and decided to sell the studio. I always loved the structure and consistency of Bikram yoga, but I found as my kids got a little older, I craved more creativity and variety in my yoga practice and teaching.

I completed a 200 hour teacher training certification in May 2019 to teach other types of yoga. The training has opened so many doors into a world of yoga beyond just the postures. In addition to yoga, I volunteer for CASA and love being in the outdoors, summer or winter (although, summer preferred!) I am working on summiting the 48 4,000 footer mountains in NH with my boys and find a lot of peace in the mountains!

I love watching the students gain confidence and peace in class and I am energized every class I teach.
